More Checkpoints are Bad News for Drunk Drivers

There should be more of these DUI checkpoints that can capture these drunk drivers and get them off the streets. Though sometimes it's a bit of a nuisance to have to slow down and show your drivers license, it's more than worth it.

Unfortunately there's not real numbers on how many lives these DUI checkpoints save but you can rest assure that they've saved plenty. We never know these days how our lives intersect. You just hope that you're never on the road with those that drink and drive.

Angels Pitcher Nick Adenhart - DUI Accident

Yet, another reason why you shouldn't be driving drunk. How tragic. When will people learn? Looks like the driver is going to be charged with murder and not manslaughter. This accident has made DUIs much more visible for the week. 

Hopefully it drives much more than awareness and drives action to make and enforce stricter laws around drunk driving offenses.

Kim Kardashian's Sis Gets DUI

Alright, if you don't know who Kim Kardashian is yet, it's probably good news. If you do, you might care that her sister was pulled over for a DUI.

Kim Kardashian is pretty hot but that doesn't excuse her from drinking and driving. I hope she never gets caught up in any of this.

It seems like everyone is going crazy over this girl. She looks great but all she did was release a adult tape. I guess that's all you need to do to be a star these days.

Barkley Gets Jail Time For DUI

It looks like Charles Barkley will be getting jail time for his recent DUI.  He was sentenced to a maximium of ten days in jail. 

He'll also pay $2,000 dollars in dui costs. This isn't much for someone that is well off like Charles Barkley but the jail time and the publicity around this stop is something that will drive awareness around drunk driving, so that is a benefit.

Charles Barkley Apologizes for DUI Stop

Here's another star that was recently pulled over for drunk driving. This guy seems to have learned his lesson and has been apologetic. 

Luckily, he didn't injure anyone. Hopefully, he learns from this and it's not habitual.
